To be or not to be; Why do we care again?

Favre this. Favre that. Is anyone else tired of hearing about this? I mean, it seems that Brett has been claimed to be more of a hero now than he ever was when he was playing.

Today, a half-an-hour long press conference with Packers head coach Mike McCarthy had begun and ended with the same topic. Brett Favre. Its hard to believe that a room full professional journalists had turned to the same questions that McCarthy had endured only a week before from a class of kindergartners. But alas, it was. And kudos, to McCarthy for holding his own and finally stating that Aaron Rodgers IS, yes IS, the Pack's starting QB. It seems as though even legendary status isn't enough to secure you a roster on the team you played with for 16 seasons.

I could ramble on senselessly about what will happen to Favre, but then im afraid i'd turn into a literary version of the NFL network's endless coverage of the situation.

Most people have an opinion that they should just let Favre come back and take them to the superbowl they missed last year. Others believed that his mistake cost him his job. But I think now most people are coming around to the in-between. Let Favre come back, and fight for his job. Clearly the packers have chosen a different path, no matter if the fans or their famed QB think.

Then there was light...

Welcome to my blog! Obviously the topic is clearly stated in the title, therefore I need not create a lengthy piece to conjure up interest. I created this blog for one purpose, to give a voice to the Football world in which fans are commonly divided, usually by something as simple as whether Brett Favre should stay retired or if the old battering-ram should come back to duke it out.

Well, keeping it short and sweet, ill continue to post as frequently as I can to cover all of the games interesting topics. Hope you enjoy and engage, I'd love to hear your comments, no matter if positive or negative.

Thanks
